This double tulip is a late variety and is a soft, buttery yellow brushed with light rose and apricot accents that deepen as the flower ages. As a bonus, this tulip is fragrant which is such a rarity in tulips.
While this tulip is not technically a 9C variety, it will have the same amount of cooling before it reaches your hands. 9c tulip bulbs refer to refers to bulbs that have been pre-chilled for some of the required cold weeks necessary to induce blooming. These bulbs are best suited for warmer climates or growers who want to force flowers outside of the typical spring season. I highly recommend growing 9c tulips in warmer climates.
