Our specialty cut flower tulip bulbs are now available to the home gardener.
9C tulip bulbs refer to refers to bulbs that have been pre-chilled for some of the required cold weeks necessary to induce blooming. These bulbs are best suited for warmer climates or growers who want to force flowers outside of the typical spring season. I highly recommend growing 9c tulips in warmer climates.
This gem is new to me this year and I am so excited because I grew Salmon Symbiose last year at it was by far my favorite of the entire season. Apricot Symboise is similar to Salmon Symbiose, just a little more peachy than pink with hints of yellow. It’s a double tulip that opens to huge flowers the layers of petals. Although Apricot Symbiose is classified as a double tulip, I’ve seen it advertised many places as a peony tulip so you can image how glorious it will be.
Quantity: 10 bulbs
Bulb Size: 12+
Bloom Time: Late
Classification: Double Late
Height: Tall
Since this tulip is new to me this year, I do not have photographs so I’ve borrowed one from Ampersand Bulb Company and Bluestone Perennials
