I’m finally jumping on the Marie Jo train. She’s been a staple in the tulip world for as long as I’ve been growing tulips praised for her dependability and strong stems and I’m finally taking the plunge. There are just too many fabulous yellow tulips to choose from that she somehow always got skipped. Not this year, baby.
Marie Jo is a ruffled and lushly double brilliant sunshine-yellow with a soft fragrance. A sport of Verona, Marie Jo has strong stems and stands up well in spring rains and wind.
