Daffodil - Kedron

$14.00

Daffodils are one of the best fall bulbs you can purchase if you want to make a long term investment in your landscape.

Daffodils are deer and rodent proof and naturalize over time.

Every year I purchase new varieties of daffodils to add to my collection. My goal is to have nearly every variety one day so my children and my children’s children will think of me every spring with the farm is flooded with seas of daffodils.

Kedron is new to me this year and I chose it specifically for its unique coloring and the promise of a tropical scent. Kedron has six slightly pointed bronze-red petals encircle a crimped persimmon throat. It is a super-long-lasting flower and looks great planted or arranged en masse. They are incredibly fragrant, like…. yep, you guessed it, tropical fruit.

10 bulbs

Height: 13-18 inches

Bloom time: Mid Season

Classification: Jonquilla

Photographs: Spring is busy around the farm so I don’t always remember to capture photographs like I should so occasionally I have to source photographs from elsewhere. This is a new-to-me-variety so the photographs are sourced from Floret and Colorblends.
