Daffodil - Flower Record

$16.00

Daffodils are one of the best fall bulbs you can purchase if you want to make a long term investment in your landscape.

Daffodils are deer and rodent proof and naturalize over time.

Every year I purchase new varieties of daffodils to add to my collection. My goal is to have nearly every variety one day so my children and my children’s children will think of me every spring with the farm is flooded with seas of daffodils.

Flower Record is new to me this year, but I had to have it because of its quintessential daffodil-ness. It’s large white petals that nearly glow gradually fade to yellow at the center, adding warmth and dimension. Each yellow-gold central cup is crimped and edged in glowing tangerine orange.

10 bulbs

Height: 16 to 18 inches

Bloom time: Early-Mid Season

Classification: Large Cupped

Photographs: Spring is busy around the farm so I don’t always remember to capture photographs like I should so occasionally I have to source photographs from elsewhere. This is a new-to-me-variety so the photographs are sourced from Floret, Eden Brothers, and Dutch Grown.
