Daffodils are one of the best fall bulbs you can purchase if you want to make a long term investment in your landscape.
Daffodils are deer and rodent proof and naturalize over time.
Every year I purchase new varieties of daffodils to add to my collection. My goal is to have nearly every variety one day so my children and my children’s children will think of me every spring with the farm is flooded with seas of daffodils.
Slim Whitman is new to me this year, but has been on my list for ages. It is a large-cupped flower flower that is simply gorgeous. Slim Whitman is a sport of Ice Follies and Its 4-inch brilliant orange cups are rimmed in butter yellow and surrounded by a snow-white perianth. I’m excited to grow this beauty!
